Simple Daisy Chain

Need:
Instructions:
  1. String 8 beads, preferably of a different color. Sometimes, 7 beads work better. Using a needle with make threading faster and easier. But be careful using it.

  2. Thread the needle and thread through the first of the 8 beads strung.

  3. Pull the thread tight so it makes a loop. Leave about 10 cm. of string so you can tie the ends.

  4. String 1 bead of another color for the center of the flower.

  5. Count 4 beads over (or the fifth bead in the loop) and thread the needle and thread through it.

  6. Pull tightly so it forms a daisy. There should be 8 beads around 1 center bead.

  7. String three beads of the color you want the spacer (the stem or vine) to be.

  8. Repeat steps 1 to 7 until you get the desired length. To make a ring, you need six daisies and six stem sections before you knot the ends.

  9. You can read how to tie off ends here.
